Ken Griffey Jr.

In other baseball news:
Ken Griffey Jr. retired yesterday.
One of the best players EVER.

I
loved having him be a part of the South Side’s pennant run in 2008.  His perfect throw home in the “blackout game”
will not be forgotten.

Ken Griffey Jr. #17 of the Chicago White Sox hits a single in the bottom of the fourth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays in Game Three of the ALDS during the 2008 MLB Playoffs at U.S. Cellular Field on October 5, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois.

He is a class act,
and one of the few players that I believe never used steroids or performance enhancing
drugs.  And he had the SWEETEST SWING OF ALL-TIME.

It is sad that his career had to
have so many injuries, but he is a great player that will be on the first
ballot Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Thanks for the memories Ken.

thank you ken griffey jr! We are all going to miss you! :(

it’s sad yet I know that he is leaving this grand game in a positive note. He’s been nothing but gracious and humble. What a guy!
